Importing Legacy Data to TripTracker:

• You can easily convert your old system's data imported into TripTracker by following these 4 steps:

  1. Extract your data from your old system into an Excel spreadsheet for each table.
  2. Download the TripTracker template(s).
    • Customer Information
       1.Customer General Data 3.4 MB
       2.Customer Credit Cards 0.9 MB Must be encrypted! See note below.

    • Passenger Information
       1.Passenger General Data 2.3 MB
       2.Passenger Address(es) 3.5 MB
       3.Passenger Credit Cards 1.5 MB Must be encrypted! See note below.

    • Landmark Information
       1.Common Locations & Airports 4.2 MB
  3. Convert your spreadsheet into the format shown in the TripTracker template.
  4. Email your finished spreadsheet to support@triptracker.com.

• If you need help with steps 1, 2, or 3, we offer conversion services starting at $75/hour.

• Note - Due to PCI Compliance regulations, all credit card information must be encrypted before emailing.

  1. When saving this Excel spreadsheet, always save it with a password.
  2. In Excel, choose File | Prepare | Encrypt Document and enter a password.
  3. Do not email this password with the spreadsheet. Instead, call 888.549.3151 extension 2 for our Support Line.

• Notes on the Templates:

  1. For each template, the top row has each field name, and the second row contains the field format & size.
  2. You can click on the field name or format to see help text for that field, including how to enter the data.
  3. The first 5000 rows or so have been formatted to only accept valid data, based on the field format & size.
  4. The first column contains a total count of the fields for that row whose data is too long.
  5. Feel free to email us a draft once you get started, to make sure you are on the right path.
